Pictures that Link

First go copy your destination website. You can only use the school suite manager to do this.

Step 1 - It is not intuitive to do this first but it will make it easier.  First copy the link you want first.  Right click and copy as shown.

Step 2 - Optionally paste the link in word or in an email as i did here.   This may make it easier to find if you loose it from the clipboards memory.

Step 3 - Either way, copy the hyperlink so you can paste it when you need it.

Step 4 - as always, click the show class editing tools.  (if you do not see this button, you are not logged in)

Step 5 - you can skip  the next three steps if you already you homework created.  

Step 6 - add new assignments  (the new news.  they are identical)

Step 7 - name it and save it.

Step 8 - DO NOT CLICK EDIT  here!

Step 9 - if you do you

Step 10 - you can see there is not school suite manager button as in step 15

Step 11 - so i cancel out.  Also DO NOT attach file image.

Step 12 - DO not try it this way either. :)

Step 13 - Click Manange News or Manage Homework in School Suite

Step 14 - Now click on the item.

Step 15 - Now you see the School Suite Button.  Click it

Step 16 - on the Add Files Tab, click  choose File

Step 17 - browse and double click your picture, upload, insert and close....

Step 18 - upload file

Step 19 - Insert

Step 20 - Close

Step 21 - Adjust the image size

Step 21 - DO NOT click the Hyperlink Button yet!!!

Step 21 - Select the image so it turns blue.... then

Step 21 - Click the hyperlink button

Step 21 - Paste your link from step one in the url box. Click OK

Step 21 - Do the same  in the Link override Url.  right click and paste.  This make the text... "Out of this world"  a link.

Step 21 - Click Save and return to you class page.   You must Refresh your browser to see the changes.  Your browser refresh button may look different.

Step 21 - You are done.   You can Test your links by clicking on them or just by resting your mouse on them and looking at the status bar at the bottom of your browser.    Keep practicing this and it will become easy.
