Don't Miss: Hitting enter creates a new paragraph.  You have to create a new paragraph to change the formatting. 

The first rule of all text formatting is.... Select the words you want to change first.  But if i try that here look what happens below.

The Heading2 applies to more than was selected.   So here is the rule. Place your cursor where you want your styling to end. (After (Choose 5) in this example) Then hit the enter key.  The enter key creates a new paragraph.  you need a new paragraph to have different formatting.

Now you can see the style was only applied where i wanted it.  Its a simple rule but it is not intuitive.  Just hit enter.... before you style to change the styling.

Here I will apply the style first and then hit enter after each item in the list.   The style applies to all the items.

If things are not formatting as you would like.  Always use the UNDO key before trying to fix unwanted formatting yourself.
