Inserting an Image

More important than you might think is paying attention to your cursor before you click the button to upload a picture.  Here i put my cursor before the word Spiritual.

This little circular button is called the SchoolSuite File Library button.  Its more than a button it opens an application in a new tab or window in your browser.  To insert an image or a file you will click this button. 

If nothing happens when you click the button, its because the tab is already opened it cannot open the library application twice.   To upload an image, from the Add Files Tab  select Browse. 

Here i am selecting a balloon picture from a folder on my desktop.  Click Open

Click the Upload File button.  This moves the file from your computer to the webserver.

Then click the Insert button in the upper right.  

As soon as you do, you will notice that the Insert button changes to the remove button.

To see the picture on your page.   You have two choices.  close the tab and the browser will automatically take you back the page you were on.   you can also just switch tabs if you want to keep the library open.

So the picture is inserted but i want the text to the right of the image.

As you mouse over the image you will notice what i call the image resizer feature.  But that's not all it does it also aligns the text to the image. 

Click once to activate the button as seen below.  then click the button again.   Each of the buttons work this way.  you have to click them twice.

If I click the enlarge button once, it makes the image a bit bigger than i hoped. 

Believe it or not,  to get the picture inbetween size 1 and 2..... you have to click the image enlarger button six times.  yep.  it will get huge, then small again.

Click the save button to apply your changes.

The picture is not the size i want and the text is to the right of the text.   I am done.
